I'd say that was true of Activision personally.

 

Yeah but we now know that only the next 3 CoD games (2022, 2023, and the next version of Warzone) are required to be multiplatform. We also know that Blizzard's games are going to be on Xbox only because when they announced their new survival game last week they said it was coming to "PC and console", singular. Seems like everything else will be Xbox-exclusive going forward. Whereas Bungie confirmed explicitly that they aren't making any exclusive games.

 

No, I mean I read that tweet as him comparing to when Activision signed a deal to publish Bungie's next game (Destiny). I don't think he's comparing it to Activision being bought my Microsoft.

 

Ohhhhhh yeah you're right. Makes sense. It's just a weird comparison to make because Activision isn't a platform holder lol. So my brain must have rejected the intended meaning and assigned it a different one that made more sense.
