Besides, Sony would make way more money keeping all of Bungie's current and future games multiplatform.

Dumb unrelated question in the middle of a news dump but thinking about getting a Switch and haven’t been paying attention lately, is there any reason not do that in the near future? Like if an upgrade model is expected later this year or something, I feel like I remember hearing about a 4k model at one point

 

Sony really need to buy Konami and actually make use of their IPs. It's criminal that series's like Metal Gear and Silent Hill are left to die in the hands of Konami that arguably don't really have a gaming devision anymore.

Selfishly I would also like them to buy Sega and Capcom.

 

Konami is the only publisher where it would actually be a good thing if someone bought them, just because their classic IP is languishing and they are a horrible company who doesn't deserve to own franchises like Castlevania, Suikoden, and Silent Hill.

That said, if any company was going to acquire Konami I'd want it to be Nintendo.
