Plot synopsis from leaker today

Doctor Graham (played by Lake Bell) and her team are using a device made by Riri to search for vibranium off of the African coast. The conflict starts when Namor learns of this and blames Wakanda.
If this is true then Riri is filling in the Stark shoes nicely by indirectly chasing a conflict between Namor and Wakanda

 

so they're debuting Namor and Doom in this? idk if I buy that

 

That’s the current consensus. I can believe Namor but Doom seems like they’re rushing things a bit
Maybe it will be shown that Doom is behind the crew that teams up with Riri in hopes that Namor will attack Wakanda

Lupita and other cast members tested positive. Shooting is on hold again. I’m starting to think this movie may not release in 2022

Lupita tested positive like 2 weeks ago but it can take time to test negative after the initial positive

As much as it sucks to wait longer, would not surprise me if February 2023 is on the table if they can't make November, they've already proved with the 1st one how successful releasing around that time could be.

 

I think it will still get a 2022 release.

 

If the film got pushed would they look to move up The Marvels to that date instead? Would that even be viable?

 

It won’t get pushed. Filming has already started again. The news about Lupita is two weeks old.

 

A new MCU actor should not be recast for the role of T'challa? The MCU producers earned the right to produce a movie without being bully by Black Panther fans that want them to follow Warners Brother's DC examples. It would be interesting to see if the rumors are true about the MCU plans for Wakanda. Lastly, I might start my own petition to "not-recast" T'challa, if this ridiculous conversation keeps going!
