  1. last call is so fucking good

i think i’ve only seen friends in the armed forces, beyond the visible spectrum and you were the cancer live

The only songs from CE that I’ve seen live are Beyond the Visible Spectrum, Circuits of Fever, and You Were the Cancer. I’ve seen Geoff play Time’s Arrow solo back in 2012 though. Then, I saw them play Friends in the Armed Forces and Love Has Led Us Astray (as well as Time’s Arrow) for the livestreams they did in 2020.

Would absolutely love to see Resuscitation of a Dead Man, Last Call, and Friends in the Armed Forces in a legit live setting sometime, but I’m not getting my hopes up.

Common Existence is very underappreciated. It's feels like the perfect balance of the heavier stuff and the more progressive sound from ND

Last Call is one of my favorite Thursday tracks.

Listening to the title track off CE now and wow it’s really good. Think I’ve only heard this once before

the common existence bonuses are as essential as anything on the album proper imo (same goes for even the sand is made of seashells dropped from city by the light). phenomenal tracks

  8. I have never been able to enjoy CE as much as any other Thursday record except the debut but dammit y'all are gonna make me try again, will report back. I listen to FC, War, City and ND all very regularly but honestly not sure I've played CE all the way through in the better part of a decade

I do really enjoy CE, but my only gripe with it is that the stretch of songs from Time’s Arrow to Subway Funeral make up my least favorite tracks on the album. I think they are all good songs, but they do not hit as hard as the opening five or the last two. At least, that’s how I feel. There’s some cool parts in those four songs, but they aren’t as memorable to me as everything else so the album loses my attention sometimes during that stretch.

I used to feel that way but boy do Unintended Longterm Effects and Circuits of Fever go offff

Water gun to my head, Circuits of Fever is my favorite of the aforementioned four-song stretch

Circuits of Fever is a banger. Bass gawd Tim puts in work.

CE is a fantastic album. I probably dig it more than WATT.

  14. Anyone know set times for this tour?

  17. I wasn’t able to make it there last night until a few songs into Cursive’s set but they ruled and Thursday was catharsis plain and simple. The tribute to Gared of PMFS was especially cool

  18. Seeing them tonight. I’m excited! I don’t think I’ve seen Thursday since like… Warped Tour.

  19. forgot to mention this but while most of the crowd was definitely 30+, shout out to the 14 year old standing near me who not only was super into Thursday but also was one of the few other people besides me who knew the words to the Texas Is the Reason cover. was cool to see as an old!

Thursday is actually huge on TikTok. There are a bunch of dances to "Signals Over the Air" and "You Were The Cancer" that have blow up in recent months.

It’s a sign how little I know about TikTok that I genuinely have no idea if this is sarcasm or not
