Listened to the Folds of Plasma song off the new Krallice album. Man really excited to check out the rest soon. I didn’t know they released an album last year as well.

 

Imagine being the vocalist of Six Feet Under and thinking you have a right to talk shit about Trevor fucking Strnad in terms of who does more for the death metal scene. I get it if his band isn't your thing but Trevor has done so much for underground death metal over the years. The Obituarist panel (RIP) was such a big thing for folks like me back in the day and he even still dabbles in that sort of shit with his public Spotify playlists. Homie is a bloodhound at sniffing out amazing underground death metal, I don't know how he does it.

 

The Black Dahlia Murder is what got me into extreme metal be it black, death, or grind, so yeah for people like me (Early Gen Z) they are an incredibly important band to the extreme music scene even if someone themselves does not like their music.

 

TBDM is definitely one of the most important extreme metal bands to come out in the last 20 something years and I mean that. Not many DM bands has had their crossover appeal and has been as successful as they’ve been.

 

I'll still throw on Unhallowed from time to time. My high school band covered Elder Misanthropy lol

 

Lol that’s my favorite song off that album, such a banger. I did a discography run of their stuff last year and it’s pretty much all solid, even Miasma.

 

I'm at the strangest triple bill right.

Living Sacrifice, Norma Jean and P.O.D.

 

I left after NJ. Crowd was weird. Almost got into a fight with a guy. Living Sacrifice was dope though and that's why I went.

 

That's one of those odd bills that still works pretty well because they all loved Jesus at one point or another.
