Although there lots of nostalgia with METN, I think record also sounds awesome.

less cinematic maybe, but Jimmy He’s Whispers is pretty cinematic to me.

Alright I'm here for the hot takes. MMOG is a great record, but still towards the bottom half for me.

I don’t think I’m emotionally prepared for another round of rankings at the moment, but I will say that Angel of Death-Telepath is my favorite stretch of songs they’ve done.

I actually revisited In Love & Death last year and it’s better than I remember

Yes. It’s on Patreon. In individual files. Physical release coming when vinyl production gets sorted out a bit more.

 

Waiting on the bandcamp version, but since they waited to release it and want to make a big deal and on vinyl, the delay makes sense. Good question and answer.

Are any of them a full MO sound or more acoustic demos?

 

Half of them sound studio quality and half of them sound like decent quality full-band demos.

 

I don't know why I had no idea these were all unreleased songs, I thought Sinful Math was Simple Math songs recorded differently, shows what I know!

 

Still “patiently” excited for a wide release.

 

Sinful Math is just a bunch of songs where Andy screams about calculus or some shit

 

And then goes off on some tangents...

 

Can’t believe I learned that AFI had a new album in 2021 from a Manchester orchestra thread in the year 2022
