I don't even use the company internet for this, I use my phone. I guess I'm not sneaky about it

I accept the shame.

 

I'm like half concerned that somebody is gonna have a stern talking to me about my internet usage. But, I get everything done and I'm generally pretty good at my job and I've seen the front desk person in the IT office on Netflix so surely they aren't gonna bust me.

NFL is so boring. Only thing that makes it interesting for me is fantasy.

 

See, what I don't get is people who are in to basketball or baseball.

You play way too many games in those sports and you play the same team over and over. In football you get one maybe two chances against a team and every single loss significantly hurts your chances to progress.

In baseball you can lose a solid 50 games and still make the playoffs.

 

Think about this though: food in a baseball stadium is better than a football stadium

 

Also basketball is the best as is baseball as is football as is sports

 

Aren't they generally the same?

For me, basketball is a much more interesting sport than football. Pace is a large part of it, as are the playoffs. I used to be a huge Eagles fan and buy all the madden games and pay attention to all the stats. My problem now is that all of an NFL game feels like the last 2 minutes of a close basketball game. So damn slow.

I don't mind the amount of games played. I think the NBA could do away with some games, but I like the way it's arranged. Baseball has too many, agreed.

 

baseball stadium food is great. i never have any desire to buy food at nfl games (always tailgate and eat outside before the game), but at a baseball game there's nothing better than sitting down with some good food and beer.

I went all weekend without internet only to come back to people insulting baseball and sweet potato fries. Can't decide which I'm angrier about.

 

I was at the game last season where you beat us for the first time at our stadium. I died a little that day.

I don't actually care about sports, baseball has the best atmosphere, it being nice out and outside

 

I get the pacing issues, I think that's a common complaint. I get way too neurotic about football so I need a break in between downs. It helps that my team chooses to go down by at least 3 touchdowns in the first half and then scramble to catch up the second half. I never feel bored. Constantly angry though.

 

Haha I feel you. I think that's part of why the NFL is so popular here, it's super easy to watch. Slow paced, one game a week, etc. Same reason nascar is really popular too. Although I'd much rather watch football than nascar.

 

One time a foul ball smashed my beer spilling it all and I had to turn away so my wife didn't see me cry bc I knew I couldn't afford another $20 half a cup of Bud Light.
