I'm actually kind of excited at the prospect of going the second weekend now. It'll give the festival the chance to get all of the kinks worked out and it'll probably run smoother.

 

It's suuuper comforting to see all these younger people buying into conspiracies, not doing any research of their own whatsoever, and just regurgitating literally anything that anybody posts or says. Is my anxiety showing?

Someone said the second weekend must be fake because what are the bands supposed to do for a week in between dates?

 

This whole thing has been really eye opening for me in a very scary way

100%. My girlfriend's little brother's best friend's sister is dating the drummer of one the big bands on here, and they say that it's all a scam. Apparently Vegas isn't even a real city. Seriously look it up. FAKE!

 

I just checked the Live Nation web site. They really are trying to bury the Astro World controversy. Why else would they be promoting so many different tours and festivals at once?

 

I heard the reason why Live Nation obtained ownership of Lollapalooza in 2014 was to cover up their inadequate handling of Astroworld in 2021. So shady.

 

I love (hate) all the conspiracies saying “look how fast they buried astroworld’s controversies by quickly booking this new festival” (as if this wasn’t in motion well before astroworld even took place)

 

Actually, it's incredibly easy to call up 60 bands, say "hey, you're not doing anything in October, are you?", and book them 2 months before a show announcement.

 

LiveNation is a terrible company in it's own right, but if you've attended a show at a venue above a 500 cap room, chances are that you've interacted with a place or a tour that LiveNation had their hands in. They run like a fine toothed comb.

lol some dude on TikTok was going hard making videos on how this festival is shady and then he had band members duet him saying it’s not shady we playing and he was like oh I’m honored you even speak to me but still kinda shady like bruh
