Stay safe yall. I caught covid after attending tool last week

 

For anyone in the Chicago area, the Falling In Reverse show with Wage War and Hawthorne Heights tonight is cancelled.

As a result HH are doing a small headline show in Bloomington and Wage War are doing a headline show tomorrow night at The Forge in Joliet.

My friend wanted to go just to see WW so he now he gets to see them headline instead.

 

Wish I could make it down to Bloomington tonight for that show. Bottom Bracket and Asa Dawson (The Junior Varsity) are opening.

 

We thought about making the trip from Chicago too but it's too much

 

Bad Omens & Stray From The Path added to Underoath/Spiritbox tour.

 

I got free tickets for the show with the Do312 thing were you pay $5 a month, and it was my first free tickets there. Bummer.

 

If it was a later show I might have tried, but leaving right after work would mean I'd probably miss the openers.

Those are disappointing replacements…..

 

I’m personally excited for Stray but let’s be real there are very very few feasible replacements that wouldn’t be disappointing for most.

 

uo replacement is so boring but it’s my own fault for convincing myself it was AOF

 

The ETID replacements on the UO tour are terrible. I was borderline on going but between the new UO album, and the support, I'm out.

Stray from the path are absolutely horrible... some of the worst harsh vocals in the scene and juvenile and asinine 'political' lyrics. There's a reason they can't even break 100k spotify plays a month despite all the music they've put out.
Bad Omens are a little better but they lean towards like a Starset kind of radio rock which is fine, but doesn't belong with UO and Spiritbox.

 

Bamboozle is working on 3 reunions for their return in 2023. Wonder who they can be

 

Hope this means we get some Halsey tour dates this summer. They've been hinting at an IICHLIWP tour, but since her baby won't even be a year old by the time this fest rolls around, I wouldn't blame them if she kept the touring sparse for a while.

 

It's going to be over a year and a half from now... Maybe some band swill break up soon just so they can reunite for the festival

 

I would have to imagine one of them is Cobra Starship. Midtown maybe too? Though they played the last Bamboozle... And would make sense with Cobra playing.

 

Kind of wish the UO tour was still only three bands.

 

Im surprised Cobra Starship didnt reunite for WWWY

 

I will now be showing up to UØ right before they hit the stage.

 

Most of these dates are opening for Touché Amoré

 

I actually like Bad Omens and Stray From The Path so I’m happy
