Dana is in a bad situation because Francis now has all the leverage.

Almost no strikes being thrown and zero damage being done, and no attempts to advance the position once Francis settled into half guard

They maybe should have been stood up, but Gane really cost himself by not pushing the pace the throughout the fight. He also allowed Francis to control him and didn’t do anything to get up the last half of the last round. I feel like he could have caused Francis to gas easily of his output was a little more aggressive. I thought he had Francis but he didn’t push enough in the later rounds and his TD defense was garbage lol Kudos to Francis for coming back after going down 2-0 and doing what nobody predicted he would do. That being said I think Jones wins easily unless get caught.

 

I also like the idea of the fourth Flyweight title fight in Mexico. I could watch these dudes fight forever and there is nobody else on that division that can touch either of them.

Man the disclosed fighter payouts are worse than I thought. So many people fighting for 10-15K. Seid making less than the dude he choked out in a minute even with his win bonus. The fact that Francis only makes 100K more than Gane is insane too and the flyweights making less than 200K is appalling. A total of 1.8 million payout for a 5 million gate and that’s not including all the money UFC/ESPN is making from the PPV deal. Fuck all of that noise.
