Sometimes I have to remember that the average person doesn't listen to a lot of punk or metal, so their frame of reference, on what to compare this record to, is fairly limited in terms of reference and source material.

 

The comparisons to X with this record have been WILD. But you are right, if you don’t listen to hardcore or metal on the regular you don’t have those close references to pull from.

Although, this record pulls from a lot of different genres.
