Honestly impressed that they kept this festival so under wraps to our collective shock and surprise. It's such a massive fest I'm impressed it didn't leak.

 

Having flashbacks to rushing to the guy selling schedules at Warped as soon as gates opened

 

Well I am stressed now, just when I thought I had my festival plans for the year

 

L-o-fucking-l. that's gonna be a fucking terrible festival.

 

The venue is 85K cap btw. It's where they host Day N Vegas every year.

 

this is going to take a hefty chunk out of my savings/Taylor Swift fund....

Yeah, I just saw that. Derek from Mayday said the only thing he knew the day they signed up for it was that My Chem was playing, and they're also finding the lineup out right now.

 

I definitely plan on going. I hope they decide to do 2 days instead of 1 though. I feel like it might be a nightmare, but I will still go regardless lol

Just saw Band of Horses got added to Shaky Knees on the same day as Death Cab and My Morning Jacket, wondering if all three together could pull some larger outdoor amphitheaters this summer?

 

I feel bad for any other tour and festival that was planning on being announced this week. Bad timing for Jawbreaker

I don't think Jawbreaker is the target demographic for festival goers there. Plus there's a huge difference between a destination festival and anniversary shows in A-Markets.
