I watched Game Night and Sideways on my last flight

 

I’ve never watched a movie on a plane. I like to get a little loose before and sleep the entire time with my headphones in.

 

I usually watch tv shows.

 

Mine was to italy. Even with sleep I had to pass the time

 

I watched Carol for the first time on a flight. It was before it was out streaming anywhere and I was super excited that it was available. Then there was that viral post calling out certain airlines for censoring it and not doing the same for similar movies with straight characters, and I realized that was the version I saw. After that experience I doubt I would watch anything new or special, but it was fun in the moment to see something worth paying attention to.

I watched 3 Hitchcock movies because he was the airlines "Featured Artist" of the month

 

I just watched I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore on a plane last week, I think that's the exact middle ground kind of movie that works.

Oh the way back I watched the first 3 episodes of Midnight Mass.

 

Why is it weird to watch an “actually good” movie on an airplane? If you were in the air for 3 to 4 hours, you don’t got shit to do, might as well

 

On a flight to Japan I planned on watching the movies they offered the whole time and started off with The Favourite and quickly realized this venue was not up to the standard of what I was watching. I watched Venom and Mission: Impossible 1 next

 

Before the pandemic I made the trans-Atlantic flight every year. I could knock out three, sometimes four movies depending on the length. It is a great time to watch difficult movies, such as a foreign film or a slower-paced film, because you don't really have much else to do. I always went in late December so they would have movies that I needed for my best of the year lists that were not even available yet.

for me, i personally can’t get the volume up loud enough to where i’d want to watch most movies where i care about hearing the dialogue to overcome the sound of the plane without it being too loud to actually damage my ears

 

I watched the random assorted episodes of Brooklyn 99 last flight I took.

 

the only time i’ve seen toni erdmann was on a flight lol

 

i watched 12 episodes of ozark on two six hour flights to and from italy three years ago and haven’t watched it since

people love it but honestly you aren’t missing much

 

It's solidly pretty good in a way that I wouldn't ever tell someone NOT to watch it but it'll probably never come up as a recommendation either

 

The last movie I watched on a plane was Annette.

 

I watched some movies on a Delta flight a couple months ago and had no issue with the audio or anything. The cheap earbuds they gave me were surprisingly effective

 

My gripe is that I have to blast full volume on headphones to hear dialogue when I’m on a plane.
