Finished Spider-Man Miles Morales. Not sure if I want to go for the platinum (urgh new game+ requirement) or move on to Re8, Hitman 3, Subnautica BZ or try to get into Outer Wilds again.

 

Definitely, the awareness of scale between the two is important to kee in mind.

 

totally understand that $300 is expensive but it definitely feels affordable when you compare to needing $800 + a $2k PC when the Vive came out

 

Unfortunately gaming is an expensive hobby

 

I was gifted Returnal for Christmas, but now just starting. This game looks unreal.

I feel like you are making that game so much more difficult than it needs to be.

 

im on the final act of dragon age 2. the story being told is awesome, i really love all the characters especially hawke, the way ive been playing him anyway. the biggest problem is how little environment variety there is, and the few times where you do leave kirkwall for quests the landscapes are very drab and meh and mostly reused from origins. kirkwall itself is very well done i think but its a shame the story takes place in such a seemingly small square space. thankfully inquisition improves upon this problem massively and im excited to start my third play through of that game after this first play of 2.

 

Nate I like a challenge but also yeah I figure ultimate and easy are the same difficult when you understand how to play it so well

 

I got days gone downloaded so I’ll probably start that sometime this week

 

Only miles trophy left is new game+ and uuuurrrgggh

 

and now im done with da2. overall very solid and the story comes pretty close to making up for the other, more obvious shortcomings. i was very satisifed with it anyway.

onto a third play through of inquisition. cant see myself wanting to go back to origins or 2 much due to the dated graphics and gameplay. i much prefer inquisition and the semi-open world sandbox approach it takes. it also has much more room for replayability and more satisfying combat that makes me want to play again just to try another class, let alone make different story choices and spend time on new friendships and romances ive yet to do. will be going slow and letting this one go on for a while and have it become my comfort game, since thats what its becoming to me. also its about time i wrap up mass effect legendary edition and beat 3...
