I think I rank the movies in their sitting order, with 3 and 4 sitting even.

I love this franchise very much and I wanted to love this but I only like it. Most of my gripes were already touched on, but I also have to add that Billy as the hallucination worked fine until he points out the knife to Sam with his eyes. Eye roll worthy moment.

 

3 is so so bad though. Idk

 

3 is the worst, for sure.

 

Some weird part of me really wanted a jilted Stu to come back lololol

 

You and Matt together. He’s been begging for it for years.

 

I do feel like Gooding was a little underused here - he does menacing really well, prior to the movie I fully expected him to be either the villain or the biggest red herring

 

I’d still be down for Stu to return as a killer in a future film.

 

Once I realized the final act was taking place at his house, and the fact that they were setting him up as the “forgotten” accomplice earlier in the film, I thought he was for sure going to figure into it somehow.

 

I JUST DONT WANT TO ACCEPT IT

 

Nobody but me wanted this but I wanted cop Adam Brody from scream 4 to make a come back. I feel like we didn't see his dead body much and I just love him okay. Like give him his moment where he comes back as the killer because he's bitter that the entire woodsboro police force keeps getting slaughtered by Ghostface and nobody cares idk that might end up awkwardly blue lives matter I don't have all the answers okay but imma need them to shoehorn him in somehow

 

Especially now knowing that the goofy good guy cop mantle needs to be taken over.

 

Sorry if this has been asked or answered not trying to scroll through too many pages before i see this hopefully this week but are the first 4 movies streaming anywhere right now? Would love to catch up and also i dont think i ever saw scream 4??

 

I don’t remember 4 so I guess I need to check that one out sometime soon.

 

Maybe I’ll go again today. Give it that extra boost lol

I think the Judy Hicks kill was the best in the film.

 

It’s opening weekend made almost as much as Scream 4’s entire domestic run

 

That was the best scare reaction in my theatre.

 

A ton of really nicely cut shots/scenes. Underrated positive here. The shed, that scene, the hospital stuff, the car stuff.

 

Enjoyed this immensely. Is the Scream series on netflix any good? In the mood for more.

 

I only ever saw the first season years ago but recall enjoying it. Need to revisit soon and watch it all.

 

Third season was terrible but first two were a lot of fun.
