Just got done watching it. He takes everything on the chin as graciously as you possibly can, and is in total agreement on all accounts of where he fucked up. The podcast basically ends with Troy pretty clearly agreeing to ditch it now that he’s been fully enlightened, with Mike promising to work with Troy to find a way to on a similar project but without all of the snake oil salesmen horrible for the environment NFT bullshit. It’s a really productive good faith conversation where three friends are politely but firmly letting another friend know precisely how and where he fucked up.

That's actually very encouraging. I don't think Troy is a bad person. Like I said before I like a lot of his work. I just think he really needs to keep his ego in check and get off his high horse. I'm glad he has friends that can reel him in, but hopefully he'll get to the point where he doesn't have to be reeled in and he'll just stop saying stupid stuff.

The beginning of the convo is them all in agreement talking about how boneheaded of a tweet that is, and this particular shitstorm seems like it’ll be leaving him with permanently learned lessons. Hopefully for his sake he’ll stop going out of his way to step in easily avoidable shit.

I’ve played smite for that long which translates to around 3,300 hours. God imagine how many games I could have beat in that time.

buddy if you thought Kena was clunky you're in for a wild ride, VR is the wild west. everything is clunky.

It’s the space I’m def most excited about in general.

Did some ghost hunting in VR yesterday so needless to say I won’t have a good night of sleep for a while.

  14. Beat Saber looks like a really fun way to burn some calories but VR is so expensive

I don't think all VR is clunky. I don't even think most of it is...

Side quests in Xenoblade are overwhelming for my OCD. Back to playing Valorant. Game gets a lot of hate but I really enjoy it.

Idk I play a lot of early access stuff so maybe that’s it. Or I’m clumsy and need to git gud.

Stuff like Saints and Sinners is obviously not clunky and neither are the rhythm games. But Into the Radius or that ghost hunting game (phantasmasomething) are clunky esp. when it comes to inventory management.

  24. (no negative tone here, just wanna illustrate why I think that's expensive for me)

for $300 (w/ some deals & coupon shenanigans) I most recently purchased for myself:
a record player and three vinyls: Long Beard - Sleepwalker, Hayley Williams - Flowers for Vases, and boygenius, $100
four dresses from Hot Topic, $100
four small items of clothing from Target, $15
Harleen by Stjepan Šejić from Barnes and Noble, $15
DVDs from Amazon: Infinity Train S1-2, Doctor Who S13 (preorder), and Eternals (preorder), $70

To be fair, Phasmaphobia is clunky in general haha and yeah the early access games are definitely clunky.

I guess I just meant some of the higher produced stuff like Astrobot, Superhot, Moss, Alyx, Blood and Truth, I Expect You To Die, etc.

I think it's also like...is it a game that's VR specific or a game that has VR capabilities? There's so many that just add on VR and those are hit and miss for sure.
