For sure, I see LAND popping up a lot when doing research so I'm going to look more into that. My 401k is all vanguard etfs, but idk if I should be putting more than the normal contribution into it, kind of new to it all. Dumped some into Ford a couple weeks before it spiked, pure luck, just did it because they were rock steady when everyone else in EV was dropping. Also just put some in Caterpillar. The rest I'm putting in something safe hence the REITs. Godspeed folks.

 

I'm a bit worried about my tech etfs but I doubt it's a "bubble", I think it might lapse this year or two but should be safe. Idk I hate having to think about this stuff but I also don't want to be homeless when the recession hits lol.

 

It's almost the one year anniversary of the first stock I bought which was the worst mistake of my life and I understand the market even less than when I didn't know shit

 

You're giving yourself less credit than you deserve. At least you know not to buy meme stocks now, right?

stick to blue chips or etfs imo, like 80% could just be in vanguards.

 

Yeah, I've just been buying QQQ for the last year or so.

 

ESG ETFs can be very interesting at the right price

 

Skyy returned 10% which is really what I'm looking for, nothing crazy. Just bought QQQ last month too. I'm waiting for LAND to go under $30 before I consider buying.

 

As boring as this is it's definitely the smartest move lol

 

S and p has dropped near three percent since start of the year. Makes me nauseous.

lol really? It's up 22.50% over the past year. If a tiny drop makes you nauseous, you may want to reconsider your risk tolerance.

 

Yeah and depending on your expected maturity date it doesn’t matter, unless you’re day trading for monthly income

I’m young so I’m fine with weathering this. We’ll see how it plays out later this week after Wednesdays meeting.

I always feel like I buy too early in the dips
