I don't even think Hot Chip themselves ever thought they'd be at that level. It's a shame as they have a full set of electro-pop bangers they can put together but I think the zeitgeist has moved on.

 

Yeah unfortunately Why Make Sense? and particularly A Bath Full of Ecstasy kind of flopped. They likely peaked in terms of their appeal with One Life Stand and In Our Heads.

That being said, GO TO THEIR SET. They still put on an absolutely incredible show and there are so, so many bangers you will hear.

 

Why Make Sense was like...almost actively bad in some parts. A Bath Full Of Ectasy was a nice rebound.

I just sent my initial list to @ComedownMachine and of course it’s mostly hip hop based but I’m really going to check out all the indie artists I got time now to do that.
