  1. I've decided I have spent my life hanging out on a forum and it's broken me, I'm not doing shit in a digital Ready Player One META world, y'all can chill there without me.

So this is how we find out we're not getting a digital blink concert in Meta Chorus??

  4. Nope, I don't wanna go attend GG's "Has Meta Cancel Culture Gone to Far?" virtual book reading either. :-p

I've read this a couple times and I am sorry, but what does that even mean? They're going to make Dems voices heard in an inconvenient manner? Or is it just written strangely and the first "their" refers to the GOP voices?

How long since testing positive should someone be isolated for? Is 10 days still accurate? My sister tested positive maybe a week or so ago and my dad's wondering if we want to hang out this Sunday. Not sure if that's enough time for her to no longer be contagious. It's a belated Christmas hang out since my dad had COVID over the holidays >_>

You can't really get any more inconvenient than getting absolutely fucking nothing done.

If she doesn't have symptoms anymore and is testing negative, then she should be fine by about day 6 or 7.

I'm loving all these tweets from Dems in Congress today and yesterday saying things like "We will act" to protect the right to vote. Gonna be funny af next week when they utterly fail to do anything about it, shrug, and just move on like they did with BBB.

Interesting, I thought it's possible to continue testing positive for even months sometimes though? Luckily she has mild symptoms that are pretty much gone so maybe she'd be fine for Sunday. Guess we'll keep an eye on it and try to get her tested again

I think in some extreme circumstances, yes, but I don't think that's the norm.

Pretty sure it's just a weird use and it's meant to refer to the GOP

It's much more accurate if you read "act" as "to perform." Symbolic gestures are sure to abound next week.

Goddamn if this isn't the most resonant piece I've read on COVID in some time. If one more childless person tells me "well, at least it is mild in kids" I will lose my fucking mind.
