Flores and Pep to Carolina?

 

I feel like the Bears weapons arent THAT bad? I dont know about their OLine though

I know ARob was stinky but Mooney got 1,000 yards and Montgomery is really good

 

Well, ARob is gone, but Mooney has turned out to be a solid player. I agree, I don't think Fields has gotten a fair shake because Nagy is such an incompetent dumbass trying to prove to the world he created Mahomes

Probably not gonna be a good year for the Bears considering the state of that team, but I'd be on board with Doug turning Fields and that organization around

Their line is bad. It's just not a pretty sight there, but Over The Cap has them listed with $40m in cap space so maybe they can bring in some key players in free agency to turn things around. They likely aren't going to find good offensive linemen in free agency, but maybe take some cheap swings there in FA or in a trade

 

For teams that need help at guard, I'll be very curious to see if they trade with the Eagles for Brandon Brooks. Dude was awesome before he's suffered two season-ending injuries. He's owed a lot of money, but I'm sure the Eagles would eat some of that just to trade him for a day three pick considering he'll be 33 next season.

Otherwise, the Eagles might just cut their losses and designate him as a post-June 1st cut and teams won't have to worry about paying as much for him and won't have to give up a late pick either.

Admittedly I watched extremely little Bears football this year. But just as a general rule, I don’t think it’s fair to bury any top QB draft pick after one bad season. Hope he can turn it around next season

I 10,000 percent knew Fields wasn’t ready and his rookie year was gonna be awful and I said it all off-season

Too bad being right doesn’t feel good because I started to like the guy and want him to succeed anyway as the pre-draft process went on

 

And too bad Lawrence played just as bad, which I did NOT see coming lol

oh I am definitely not saying to bury him, of course you hopefully surround him with a good coach/OC and see what he can become

but the narrative that Flores/Fields will form some super power team is so hilarious to me...its just baseless.

 

ARob has also been a great route-runner. I'm genuinely curious how much injuries hampered him this year versus the offense, or if he is simply past his prime at this point heading into his age-29 season

 

I like that we are (At least for now) targeting offensive guys

I think what you've got to do is give Tua 2022 with a (hopefully) better OLine and running game. If he doesnt improve, you've got two 1sts in 2023 to go get a new QB
