Jon Lester retired. Never should have left the Red Sox, still can’t believe they low balled him. Hell of a career though, 3 time WS champ, multiple time All Star and most importantly beat cancer.

He was a guy you wanted to have the ball in a big game. Can’t have a higher compliment than that as a pro athlete.

 

For some reason I thought Lester retired last year, what a career for the dude. He’s definitely a hall of famer and all time good guy. Wouldn’t be surprised if a team asks him to coach.
