This reminds me that for those that care, people have fully translated into English the two PSP Yakuza spinoff games Kurohyou: Ryu ga Gotoku Shinshou and Kurohyou 2: Ryu ga Gotoku Ashura Hen, or as translated in English as Black Panther: Yakuza: New Chapter and Black Panther: Yakuza 2: Ashura Chapter.

Anyone played Death's Gambit in here? Started it recently and have been pleasantly surprised by how good it is. Every boss so far has been unique and fun and the world is really interesting to explore.

If anyone is looking for a really good 2D metroidvania that borrows heavily from Dark Souls, pick this one up.

Why does it 500 hours? Looks like they haven't detailed why yet.

Also, you know achievement hunters will be on that in a second and cut that drastically.

That’s just annoying. Even 70-80 hours is too much.

 

It is fine if they can keep your attention (70-80 hours that is). 500 is borderline insanity. There are games that are much shorter that couldn't keep my attention. Looking at you Spider-Man.

 

500 hours? Meh, not bad

 

I’ve played over 500 hours of Skyrim but it’s not achievement hunting or anything. It’s different characters and doing all the different quest lines and just mindless exploring and gear hunting. I mean I’ve put thousands and thousands of hours into wow but it’s an mmo that I’ve played since 2006 (haven’t played in over a year though) so it’s a little different

 

If you played it all day, everyday for 3 weeks straight it could be done. Roughly 21 days of play time.

 

It took me 21 days play time to reach level 60 in wow when I played in vanilla. Which was three months IRL time but I was 14 and could game for 8 hours a day like it was nothing. Nowadays if I have a 4 hour sesh that’s long as fuck

 

If I play for more than 2 hours at a time, I fall asleep sitting up, lol

 

Yeah I feel like Skyrim you could easily put 500 hours but dying light it just sounds like you are only going to be racking up hours to due to the multiple storylines and endings.

 

I don't know. There's a lot of fun to be had just running around and killing zombies. Most of Skyrim's quest are all the same as well.

People are complaining about this, but you don't have to play for 500 hours if you don't want to.

 

Yeah but like why even put that much busywork into a game. Let people live their lives lol

imagine crunching to pad a game to that length.
