For sure the most interested I’ve been in a Weeknd album…maybe ever. He had recaptured my attention lately, mainly because “Blinding Lights” was so fantastic.

 

This is fun. Synths are huge

 

This album sounds *incredible* in the car. The sound just envelops you.

 

Maybe some of the most interesting pop music I've heard in a bit. Loving this.

 

That hook on sacrifice hits like a ton of bricks

 

I was doing a late night drive listening to this and I was vibing so hard

 

Less Than Zero my gooood

 

Less Than Zero reminds me of like an alternate reality happy version of The Twilight Sad.

Jim Carrey parts are well done

 

The interludes are so well done with him.

 

This is cool. It got a little samey for me, but the concept is well-executed, the production is great, and I’ve always loved his voice.

 

Gonna replay this one a few times this weekend, it's really resonating.

 

Really loving this. I wasn't as wild on After Hours as some people but I feel like this takes my favorite parts of that one and just expands on it for the whole album. It strikes that perfect blend between retro and futuristic. And I can't believe how well the Jim Carrey bits work

 

Loving this way more than after hours.

 

working together with opn and Max Martin is such a next level brain

 

Enjoy this musically but lyrically it's a little generic. AH felt more distinctly Abel in that sense.

 

This isn't grabbing me the way After Hours did at all, but we'll see how I feel with repeat listens.
