This is is definitely a fantastic album, what a kickoff to the year

 

then synths go crazy

 

What could be so dark that he couldn’t finish it? That makes me curious

 

generally pretty lukewarm on him but this is really good so far

the transition into Starry Eyes is smooth

 

Only thing I can think of is that EP trilogy he was going to do that started with 'My Dear Melencholy,' which I think he's scrapped now.

Wow, had no idea he had a new album out. Saw Dawn FM trending the other day, but didn't care enough to find out what it was haha.

Current 6 tracks in and this is really bloody good. Some serious late noughties Ed Banger vibes to some of it.

 

You can really can tell OPN's influence on this. I know he worked on other stuff with him, but I feel his presence is more pronounced on this one.

 

Yeah, this lil wayne feature can get in the bin. Awful.

What in the Talking Heads was Gasoline

 

Wow. I'm usually not a fan of most of his stuff (hated After Hours), but this album has been amazing so far.
Currently on track 8. I honestly thought I'd turn this off by the second track, but every song has been a hit so far.

 

Take My Breath is doing it for sure. I'm all for an all in pop weeknd, I know he's attempted it in the past and it's hit or miss for me. This is hitting way more than missing so far.

 

For me, he never bettered the dark broody stuff from the trilogy and Kissland. Pop Weeknd is where he shines now

 

Gasoline is such a trip to kick off the record. Is that Abel's voice just altered?
