i mean at least they still had covid sick leave after the government said they didn't have to provide it anymore

 

My company has been handling all things Covid pretty much the right way this whole time, but we talked about this during a normal weekly meeting today and middle management could barely contain their disdain for the corporate plan to tie the availability & amount of Covid Leave days to CDC guidance, subject to be updated at any time of day.

Honestly every American should receive an n95 from the state or fed. A recent meta analysis found that strict mask wearing is just as important, if not moreso, than being vaccinated.

 

Has there been any new data on the efficacy of vaccines preventing cases on omicron? I know it’s still effective against hospitalizations but against infections the efficacy really feels like it is low

What a ridiculous take. What's so annoying is that if we actually had a uniform testing and contact tracing program, we probably could have kept schools open with mask wearing (well maybe not with Omicron since it's so contagious).
