gotcha. to be fair, I felt deeply while formulating and editing my post that it was probably dumb and a waste of time but I was so deep into it I guess I felt obligated to commit to posting lol. I tried to be sincere and diplomatic with it and give as much thought and insight into what I see in them without arguing the actual quality of their music, which in the context of a throwaway joke or whatever in a comedy podcast thread I guess is kinda absurd lol.

 

i've heard maybe three songs total from both bands. no disrespect to Korn. all three songs had similar scat-type mouth noises so it seemed "similar." I'm sure if I heard a full album from both there would be notable differences but who has the time when there are doughboys doubles to dig through.

 

How are you my age and only heard 3 Korn songs???

I only tagged @nohandstoholdonto because she likes Korn as much as (even more so than) I do and any thread with her is automatically better, it wasn't meant to be a Thing

 

perhaps i know more. idk. i plainly stated I never went seeking out any of their albums. i heard whatever was on the radio. it's not that complicated lol.

 

I’m not really a Korn fan but when it came out, I loved the Issues album and rediscovered it last year, still a banger.

Nohandstoholdonto. I appreciate anyone who is a true fan of any band. Even if that band isn’t for me. We accidentally thought Disturbed was Korn, but meant no harm by it. I actually even enjoyed some Korn back in the day.
