Punk probably does smaller MMA promotions for a while. I don't see him coming back to wrestling or at least WWE for a few years.

 

All I'm saying is never say never with Vince McMahon and now Triple H. They've patched things up with plenty of guys for publicity's sake and Punk would do them just fine in the merch and ratings department. I agree, I think we won't see him back in WWE... but I wouldn't ever say it's off the table for good. The only reason it might be is that Punk is too proud to admit he's wrong about anything, so.

 

MeekMahan's said that he would welcome Punk back.

 

Don't think Punk will ever been back with WWE. Too stubborn and too much pride. I do think he will wrestle again though.

Pretty much how I see it. He isn't lying when he says pro wrestling is his love. I think the lure is too strong for him to stay away from it.

 

i think punk 100% still wants to main event a wrestlemania and all this stuff is a charade

 

Didn't his original first fight get canceled for some reason? I thought he had an easier fight scheduled and this was the rescheduled one.

 

Vince and trips are so fucking drunk and high right now. That celebration is 100% off the hook

 

Pretty sure the goal was to make Mickey a star coming out of this. There was a good chance it wouldn't have mattered for Punk so why not take a young guy they're high on and give him a perceived big win.

 

i mean why not try another match or two? if it doesn't work out its not like any independents or other promotions wouldn't have him
