This was...not good, but I did have fun. Psyched for The Flash.

I liked this a lot. obviously had issues but I didn't think it was bad.

  4. There's a Kubrick double-feature at my theater this weekend, but I've seen A Clockwork Orange recently so I think I'll skip out on that and see this instead. 2001 will be my palate cleanser if it happens to be that bad.

Haven't seen this yet, but anyone else watching Conan's DoJ special currently?

May get around to this one this weekend. Going in with low expectations. That said I really enjoyed Man of Steel and was pleasantly surprised by what I've seen in the previews of Affleck's turn as Batman after not initially liking that casting.

Loved seeing all the cast together on Conan. Thought it was good!

I still don't think this movie is as bad as people say it is. I'm going to go see it again soon just to really grasp it. After that I'm waiting until the home media release is out and it's longer. I feel deleted scenes will help tie it together.

Yeah I plan on seeing it again in a couple of weeks or so. Just a lot to take in for the first viewing.

I feel like I was just sitting there in pure excitement that it was actually here and I was seeing these two characters on screen together. Next viewing is going to be my dissection.

Haha I was literally in the exact situation. Just sitting there the whole time excited that the movie was finally out, I'm sure I missed out on a lot of the fine details.

I definitely had no high expectations when I heard Affleck as Batman, and I held that expectation until 10-15 mins into the movie. Now I want to see that movie he's written desperately.

I saw it last night, it was better than I expected which isn't saying much as I had low expectations.

Not sure what I felt like it was lacking, maybe a stronger story. Felt rushed but also too long, needed less dream sequences. Really enjoyed Affleck as Batman though.

    I do not exist.

I saw it yesterday and the only word I can describe it as underwhelming. I wanted to really love it. I tried to. Ben Affleck was fantastic. The story was just convoluted and a bit dull. It relied too much on your inferring things or accepting things as fact that when you look back make little or no sense. My housemate tells me that Snyder is all about symbolism and meaning but I felt that most of this was lost on me due to the story (whereas I could appreciate it in Man of Steel).

I was actually looking forward to it, despite the reviews and some of the negativity surrounding the trailers.

Other key things to mention. I didn't understand Lex Luthor's characterisation at all. Wonder Woman was fantastic and, alongside Affleck's performance, was a redeeming factor.

Seeing it again tomorrow morning with my little brothers. Really hoping I like it more the second time around. Found it incredibly underwhelming, yet still wanted to see it again after leaving the theater.

I'm a big Batman fan and not much of a fan of Superman. I enjoyed Man of Steel quite a bit, but I really disliked BvS. I tried so hard to like it and get into it, but so much of it rubbed me the wrong way. I don't want to go into some long-winded and spoiler filled explanation (unless you guys are interested in reading that), but I walked away really disappointed. DC continues to let me down.

I've heard these arguments being made about the film like the critics don't know what they're talking about or that comic fans will feel a certain way about it. I'm a critic and a comic fan and have yet to see that perspective from anyone but me, haha. Now that the film has had a strong opening weekend and looks to be on the way to being fairly profitable that's all anyone can focus on. Just because a movie makes money doesn't mean it's good. Look at the Transformers franchise, Spider-Man 3, or any Tyler Perry movie ever.

Long story short, I liked so few things about Batman v Superman and disliked so very very much.

it was fun, every time I see Jesse Eisenberg in an interview it feels like it is killing him one second at a time.

Haha it certainly looks that way. Seems like there are several actors that generally don't like to watch their performances once the movies come out.

This movie is definitely going to have the benefit of their not being any major releases this weekend as competition.

I was actually sitting with tempered expectations for the first thirty minutes waiting for the movie to take a nosedive, but it never did. My expectations were never high but I came out of it liking it a lot

a stronger story is definitely what it lacks. Dispite the runtime, the heavy tone, and the supposed overstuffed-ness of it, there really isn't much going on.

I really loved Eisenberg in this. From what I've seen of Lex in the past, he's been kind of a bland villain. This Lex was closer to Ledger's Joker, which I enjoyed
