Lifeforms has Spellbound and Automatic and just these two smash everything blink has done since Neighborhoods.I love the whole album and this is probably my favorite AvA era as whole.And the live show?You can’t even compare Tom’s energy with last couple of years of current blink lineup.Like say what you want,seeing Tom live is fun as hell.And I say that as BIG Skiba boy.

Nine is fantastic. No matter what band name it’s under.

 

Even when Tom didn’t want to be there and played drunk and sloppy he still had more energy and charisma than Matt ever had/has.

 

At least Matt is capable of playing the right chords.

Eh it’s part of blink’s charm though. Even in their prime they always messed up songs.

That 6/8 mashup a few pages ago was good! Went on too long but the harmony overlap is cool.

I think Anthem is the better song but Anthem Pt 2 is one of my all time favorite openers. Really sets the tone.

 

This would be amazing.

But actually, Mark should just move along with the project himself and call it Simple Creature.

 

I don’t think Simple Creatures needs to continue.

 

Every single Simple Creatures song would be better as a blink song.

I say that as a guy who really liked both EP’s. But the last chorus of “Strange Love” with Tom doing some cross harmony/“Feeling This” dual chorus shit and Travis drums? That would own.

 

Simple Creatures was a side project outlet for Mark to keep busy and stay creative and just happened to find a friend to work with for the whole thing. If he feels he needs it because the other guys are busy, than go for it.

I do agree that I’d rather him focus more or Blink, but having side projects for quieter times is ok, like producing, guest vocals, radio shows or SC or whatever he needs.

I wouldn’t be against a Mark solo album, but I don’t see him working on his own at this point.

 

Still bummed we never got to hear these completed…
