Host is a little unlikable but he does good work.

 

I like him. I heard of him through a Tom Segura podcast he was on. I think he’s British or something, but hardly sounds like it. He mentioned last night that he has autism which was new to me.

Tonight Mark is joining Christian as they go over “What’s My Age Again” which was picked by Mark. 6:00PT/9:00ET

 

On the last one, he kept trying to like ... show off (?) ... for Mark by playing Pet Sounds a capella tracks even as Mark told him he had the box set and had listened to them before.

I think someone like Rick Beato approaches this kind of thing with a better attitude and more humility.

 

He also just said Neighborhoods has "flawless production" and "incredible performances" so like ... not the best perspective

 

Yeah last week he said Neighborhoods is his fav Blink album and I almost choked.

 

I know a few people that say it’s their favorite. I think I respect it more now than I did a few years ago.

 

Nothing is going to top Untitled for myself personally. Neighborhoods is a collection of ideas that had too much time trying to be fleshed out (in my opinion). I respect it just because it’s blink, and that’s probably about it. There’s still no excuse why “Love Is Dangerous” exist.

 

Welp, finally got confirmation the background vocals in WMAA are going "Please stay with me" and not "Please stay wendy"

It was also cool the host asked Mark about Scott from Frightened Rabbit at the start and told everyone Scott was a lyrical genius.

 

I’ve never heard about people thinking it was “please stay Wendy” nor would that ever cross my mind.

 

It’s because the song was originally called “Peter Pan Complex” so people thought the harmony at the end said “Please stay, Wendy.”

 

Cuz Enema is a concept album about Wendy Clear

 

I mean I guess that makes sense but I never would have thought that the line was debated.

 

Wendy was the name of Mark’s boat

 

Am I the only one who has no idea what line they’re talking about?

 

It's probably my second favourite after Untitled and sometimes it is my fav.

Background harmony on WMAG during the final chorus is Mark singing “Please stay with me” over and over.

 

Ricks amazing breakdown of ATST changed that song forever for me in a good way. Can’t hear it the old way now.

I wish he would do WMAA if only because I’m SURE the synths are under that last instrumental chorus.
