Drive My Car fucking wrecked me wow

 

Literally half of the screens were playing Spider-Man when I was at the theater yesterday. It was really just us and a few elderly people seeing Nightmare Alley.

 

Is this just for Friday?? Or is that the weekend estimate based on Friday numbers?

"Thursday previews" is such a dumb way to inflate your opening day numbers.

 

There literally isn’t going to be room for both actual movies and the continued installments of the MCU alone, nevermind whatever other franchises Disney has planned, to exist in theaters simultaneously and it’s by design

 

I love that PTA looks 12 and Julianne Moore looks exactly the same

Spider-Man opening day at my theater there were only 6 showtimes that day that weren’t for Spider-Man

 

This time of year, where I am rushing to see as much as possible, starting a movie and seeing a 75 minute runtime is such a relief.

 

Gotta love a sub-2 hour movie.

Coincidentally I just watched the first episode of The Underground Railroad last night. It was much more compelling and overall better than other films of that era. If an Oscar doesn't get you enough recognition, what does?
