Loving Witcher S2 on Netflix. Very optimistic for the Mass Effect show

 

very, very tempted to pick this up. It's Breath of the Wild meets Shadow of the Colossus, in the most literal sense.

 

I’m about to play the Witcher 3 again for the 4th or 5th time lol

Anyway legendary edition is so good, would have never guessed the first ME was made in 2007. It looks and feels like a game released in the last 3-4 years at the most

 

most reviews peg it at a solid 8. It has some survival elements but you can instead turn those into "buffs" (i.e. like in BotW).

I finished Guardians of the Galaxy today so I'm ready. Still too scared to keep playing my VR game lol

 

Never played witcher 3 and waiting for the next generation patch to play, excited for it

 

I've been playing through Legendary Edition since it came out (my first time playing through the series) and I'm up to the beginning of ME3, it's so good

 

I’m gonna watch season 2 this week and it made me redownload the game so I can play again haha, it’s such a rich engrossing world I really wanna spend some time in it again. I think I’ve got a save file relatively early in the game but past the intro tutorial type level which is annoying to replay every time

 

I got a long hdmi cable to hook up my pc to my tv since that’s one thing I do miss about console gaming is playing on a tv, and yeah after one race in forza I’m glad I did this lol plus I can lounge in bed and game now

Picked up the first bioshock on Switch coz I've always wanted to play through them but fam it is creepy. Just finished the first mission and I am tense.

 

legit never finished bioshock 1 half because I got stuck and half because it was too spooky

 

It’s way creepier and scarier than infinite but I preferred infinites world and story more

 

I'm not good with horror at all so i don't know if I'll make it all the way through. I'm playing on easy though which at least takes the edge off lol.

Is the story of Infinite actually connected to 1+2, or does it work as a standalone?

 

it works as a standalone but there's a connection that's further explored in the infinite dlc

 

We had this discussion in here recently but I wouldn’t call bioshock a horror, more like a suspense/thriller type thing. if you’re expecting dead space type horror shit don’t worry it’s not like that

 

1. It’s not a horror, just dark atmosphere
2. The games are all connected

 

I’d argue the ending of infinite *is* the connection that makes the DLC possible.
Obv I’m not gonna get into it further out of respect for the person who’s just now started playing this fantastic series which — come on — we don’t need to rank or argue which part is best.

 

Yes, the ending of Infinite connects things but the dlc further elaborates on it.

I just finished Firewatch for the first time after grabbing it from Game Pass.

I was not expecting the gut punch of emotions. I immediately was devastated by the intro and cried as the credits rolled.

What a fantastic game. The writing, the voice acting, the views of the forest and mountains. It hit me like a ton of bricks in a way I haven't felt from a video game in a long time.
