I know this is now old but as a newcastle fan i dont really know what to say about sissoko. Didnt fulfil his promise when he arrive but was used out of possition for vast majority. Obviously everyone knows he barely turned up and maybe at a big team that can win somthing like spurs he can rise to it.

Hed excel at a team like leicester counter attacking but hes not composed enough on the ball for a team like spurs i dont think. His first touch is woefull. Give him soace and hell run into it and occasionally through some players but his end product is also weak.

I just cant think where hed fit in to spurs football. Maybe he can be an impact player. Hes certainly not a big enough goal threat or chance creater to be a number 10 which is why i think he got shifted out wide here. His best postion is running fro a deep position in midfield but you wouldnt play him over dier or dembele because he's prone to giving the ball away. He cant play in tight spaces.

 

It's mad how this year everyone and their dog is saying we're a team of "huge big men" stark contrast from last season where they were all saying we were too small lol
