Strike over. We got everything we asked for supposedly. I have to imagine they were really close to a deal but had to do the strike because the date was already set.

 

Silver lining I guess? Too bad judges don’t really get out the votes for dems.

Not sure what to make of it. Record high cases with a 30%+ positivity rate, so it wouldn't necessarily be a surprise that it's ripping through the entire population in just a few weeks. But then you'd expect the ratio of severe outcomes to cases to increase significantly rather than be as low as it actually is. Hopefully "good" news that, while the rest of the world will likely see increases in all metrics, we'll avoid death tolls reaching last winter's peaks. Obviously the surges we're seeing in places like the UK and NYC are still extremely concerning though
