i wish i wasn't born

 

i truly don’t know. I love getting to interact with and teach kids new things, especially since I teach government and I feel like some of the future activists/politicians/leaders/etc will really get something from my class. And it’s hard to even think of the idea of giving it up.

I guess the one thing that I might at this point say “yeah I’d definitely leave for that” is if I got elected to public office. 3-4 years ago I turned down an opportunity to apply for a legislative aide position for our county council because I didn’t want to give up teaching yet. I might think about that a little harder now if I were given the same choice.
