I have an older friend that texted me out of the blue with a picture/tweet from the Denver school is the “poc night only” and was like “this is progressivism”

That woman's timeline is incredible - just retweet after retweet of deranged "justice for Cuomo" tweets

 

My mother in law is texting my wife some absolutely bonkers shit about Covid and I am cackling. Gonna post it later when I have some time

 

What's funny is yeah it comes off as a little "off", but like, the simple explanation is "sometimes people of color don't feel accepted or like they "fit in" in a large group of white people and this is giving them an opportunity to have a school event where they can feel more comfortable" and that's...not veyr hard for a white person to understand! Just ask them if they ever feel awkward being the only white person in a large group etc

 

keep white people out of everything, tbh. we can't be trusted.
