Coheed tour is the same night as a Real Friends off-date headliner in Grand Rapids. Might have to double dip that night.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

My guess is that they do the small tour in the spring, and then they’ll do a normal US tour in the fall. I couldn’t see them doing another one of their summer co-headliners again this year

We were just talking about high ticket prices in this thread. My Tame Impala GA floor ticket at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn (market #1) was $115 with fees which seems....slightly cheap these days?

Id say very cheap, is the show selling well? Face value for GA in Toronto and Philly is above $115 without fees.

They played for 2 hour 20 mins straight at my date. Must have sold like 150 out of the 250 cap room. Fan voted set for an hour, acoustic set, then their own set.

I might be moving to Grand Rapids in the spring, and I can't tell you how excited I am at the concept of being ten minutes away from cool things for the first time ever in my life.

2nd night which I think made it easier to get. Resale is going for $250 +

Wait aren't you like...a frequent tour announcer is this thread? Have you not lived near a place with lots of shows before?

Not meant to be an insult by any means, just genuinely curious.

Next month marks my 4th year living in OC, and while OC doesn’t get every tour I’d like to hit up, I’m so glad my days of driving 40-90 minutes out of town for shows are over (and even then, the towns I’d have to drive to rarely got a lot of shows I wanted to go to…)

Isn't that in the LA-area? I assume most people in the OC go to LA for shows unless the tour plays both there and LA but I'm a NYC guy so I could be wrong.

Yes and no. OC is sometimes considered as part of the LA metro area, but it’s not officially part of LA, even though we’re right next door to LA County.

Sometimes I made the drive to LA, if it’s a show/band I’m DYING to see. But since traffic is usually awful, if it’s someone that yours often, I’ll pass

Nope, haha. I've lived in places at least an hour from frequent shows my whole life. I just make a lot of trips for gigs and carpool when I can. I lived in Midland and Jackson after graduating college in Saginaw, and then moved to Lansing in May 2019 (which I was SUPER excited about living in a B-market)...right before COVID hit and both of the city's two major venues shut down, haha. I'm excited at the prospect of living in Grand Rapids though! :)

Ah I guess I always considered it to be like NJ/CT/LI is to NYC, part of the suburbs but, yes, the traffic would definitely be a deterrent.
