5 more laps, yeah moving ALL of the lapped cars makes sense. Moving 4 of them for a last lap drag race makes no sense

 

It should have happened much earlier, doing it last second the way they did is just inviting criticism. But I am always gonna say that lapped cars should be either be let through or moved to the back of the field. No reason for them to be in the mix

 

Woooooooooooow. I think FIA stewards panicked because they didn’t want to finish behind safety car but they didn’t have enough laps.

Feel bad for Lewis but VERY happy for Max.

 

Just incredible to make the decision at the last moment to essentially make the previous twenty laps irrelevant. That's a broadcasting decision over anything else. The call had already been made.

No begrudging Max, who's driven as exceptionally as Lewis this year, but that's woeful.

 

FIA just wanted to finish under racing conditions so forced it by bending the rules to suit their needs. They didn't let all the lapped cars through like the rules say because there wasn't enough time. Plus changing their mind on what to do just makes it worse.

Could have stopped the race to get a final few laps racing if that's what they really wanted.
