Never beat Paper Mario, stoked to play it again

 

First video game I ever played was OG Tetris on the OG Game Boy. I got a hand-me-down grey brick Game Boy from my uncle in like 1995 when I was about 5 years old.

My first Pokemon game was Blue.

 

Same. I imagine they haven't aged well.

 

I actually always go for a fire type in Pokemon, but since my parents bought me blue version, I felt obligated to choose the water type in that game alone

 

They're surprisingly not that bad if you play them on Rare Replay.

 

My first game was definitely NES Mario. Then we got a Sega Genesis, then Playstation, and I think a GameBoy color with Pokemon Red after that

My best friend at the time was my next door neighbor and he had the N64

 

I used to like squirtle the best but once I saw charmanders origin story it became my fave by far, but even I will say charizard is super overrated now because it’s covered by some shitty folks lol

 

I’ve been playing Loop Hero for over seven hours. A lot changes when you get the ability to level up. Unlocking villages heals you and that’s good too, since the potions only increase your max hp. I wish it would tell you how to unlock each resource, since they’re so important. I had to look it all up.

 

I did that…until I found if you put it next to a meadow, it transforms into the blooming meadow. That gives you the Noticeable Change, which turns into Metamorphesis…which is something you need to build all the buildings lol.

 

3x3 mountains make a peak. Put your meadows on the outside.

I'm going to play some fucking Loop Hero tonight, aren't I

I know, I've owned it since it first came out on Mac, but you guys talking about it is making me want to dive back in.

 

Yeah I played about half on Mac and didnt mind stopping because I knew Id return for the inevitable Switch release.

Well here we are

 

Walked into a target this morning and saw some OLED switches in stock. Wanted one so bad but couldn’t pull the trigger

 

I was just at Walmart and they had one white OLED in stock and I had to talk myself out of buying it.

 

The first game I ever played on my own was Super Mario Sunshine on the Gamecube but I definitely played the original Super Mario Bros on the NES with my dad before that

 

They first game I played was Super Mario World but I was like 4 and it was a while after that game came out. I don’t remember the first game I beat but it was probably Mario 64 or Donkey Kong Country.

 

Mine was Mario Land 2

 

As heartwarming as this is, it also hurts me in a deep physical way. I can feel myself aging.

 

I have no idea where my Pro Controller is. Was supposed to be delivered 4 days ago.

 

Does the place you ordered it from not have tracking? Or does the tracking indicate it's been delivered and that's the problem?

 

Man, I wish my dad would have played videogames with me lmao. I'd practically beg him as a kid, and he'd just play one or two rounds of Beetle Adventure Racing with me

To be clear, I love my dad and he's a good guy, just never had any interest in videogames that weren't Galaga lol
