I’m not a big follower of this band at all and don’t know much history with the members so I’m speaking more generally here but I think it’s okay to discuss what has been publicly shared but other than that further speculation is just weird. Like, Julien Baker just released a zine which details her relapse with alcohol/drugs and subsequent stints in rehab. There’s a lot of personal and dark information in there. As someone who runs a Facebook group for her, my rule of thumb is it’s okay to discuss the content of the zine but speculation like “I wonder if this relapse is why she broke up with her ex?” or “I wonder who it was that she got in a fight with and got beat up by?” are too far. She told us what she wanted us to know and nothing more. The same goes here. Keith told y’all what he wanted you to know and anything further is between the people involved and no one else. If you don’t know, you’re not meant to know and shouldn’t be discussing it IMHO.

If you don’t know why the fuck make the comment? Not everything is black and white for everyone. It’s not easy to just up and divorce you’re wife especially if you have a kid together.

Just listened to Big Dirty this morning and idk… I feel like I would rank it on the lower tier of their discography. I know that’s probably a hot take but the record just doesn’t hit for me anymore aside a few tracks.

Also, Will Putney’s incredible production makes their past records look silly production-wise lol

One of my buds went and I asked him the same. Basically he said that everyone on stage seemed really happy, when Keith sung the lines “spare only the ones I love” Jordan played right next close to him. And the two of them were hanging out together seemingly having a good time before they played in the friends and family vip section. They did not directly address “the situation” though and according to him you’d never know there was a situation to begin with.

they probably sorted shit out in private and are working through it but at the end of the day they’re still brothers. me and my brother have had some tense moments due to my addiction and recovery and constant relapses but we always work it out in the end. one of the situations where I saw family talking about me without me knowing involved him and that was a hard one to get past because it was some really really hurtful shit but we did it

And not be a cynic, but they’re also consummate professionals with a lot of money on the line.

Yeah if the band are ready to put all this behind them I’m just gonna chalk this up to “things that should’ve remained private that fans shouldn’t have ever known about”.

I’m all about respecting privacy. Keith took it public. Consistently for like 24 hours. Fair game for gossip in my book.
