I wouldn't be surprised if they release it as an album on streaming services, too.

    u wut m8?

I think I've listened to it like 3 or 4 times already today and like 5 or 6 times yesterday evening. Such a great return to form.

If only someone could point me to one of those websites that have those type of rips so Id know to stay away from it.

I’ve had the chorus of Numb stuck in my head all day today

Judging off the studio version of Numb - it seems like they are keeping the intro/outro sounds from Digital Ghost on the record :)

We reach for the longest shadow

Lol what a Chino impression in those first few lines

the juxtaposition of Aaron's singing and how technical he's drumming is kind of wild. Great song, maybe my favorite so far.

let us know how many of the live interludes made it into the final album!

  13. No interlude between track 1 and 2, but it's actually really close to sounding like the livestream, but with cleaner and more clear vocals being the main thing I notice so far. I can make out lyrics better.

  16. This album is so damn good.

  17. My early take is that this is very very close to the livestream. It just sounds ... cleaner. Intensity feels matched. Love it.

Not to be that guy but I think the live version of Numb is a little better but Aaron’s drumming on the studio track is bonkers. I appreciate that guy still challenging himself instead of getting complacent in his drumming.

Does it keep all the cool intros/outros they did for almost every track on Digital Ghost?

  20. Still get big Saosin vibes in "Thorn" - an early favorite.

  21. I like the livestream version of "Take a Breath" more ... hits harder. But so far that's been the only one where I've had that reaction.

  22. Yeah, love this.

does the studio version of We're All Gonna Die rip as hard? that's probably my favorite from the stream.

    D'oh! Prestigious

Sounds promising, I remember listening to some Saosin back in the day (probably from that Grey EP or something) and hearing some resemblence to Spencer. Cool to have it the other way round! and I'm so pumped reading you guys enjoy the record so much!

I don't get much of a Saosin vibe from Thorn personally, other than the fact that Spencer's vocals remind me of Cove's. Definitely tied with Take A Breath for my favorite track, though!
