doesn't take a genius to figure out this is probably the last written review we'll see on Giant Bomb but at the very least by Jeff Gerstmann. Heck of a good one it is too.

Obviously, it isn't only, or really about Halo Infinite, but don't let that stop you.

 

Perfect game

 

I read this, and it was fascinating, not as a review, but as an existential crisis.

 

Fortnite is a lot of fun and I really respect the creators for how they consistently change things up. I extremely rarely play these days, and I'm also really bad at it, but the only reason to hate on it is if you hate battle royales or if you want to be cool

 

Can’t wait to see what Harmonix is going to add to it. The game is already buckwild

 

I disagree. I like BR and I trusted Epic, but the last time I played it, Fortnite just played clunky and bad. It does not feel like a good shooter to me. I do respect the energy they put into it.

 

Bro try it now the sliding changes everything

 

I mean specifically the aiming and shooting, it felt off as fuck

 

because it's projectile based and not hitscan, also a lot of bloom.
I can't speak to the aiming as I play everything on PC thus every game feels the same lol

that new AR with the first person scope they introduced is a fucking monster.

 

Some people just don’t always enjoy games that some other people really like, wild stuff

There’s a difference between disagreeing and saying someone is automatically wrong because they feel like their opinions are superior and trying to make someone feel dumb for having a perfectly lukewarm take on the game, WiLd sTuFf

I respect a lot of games that aren’t my cup of tea, it’s nice when devs actually give a shit and work tirelessly to make a game better (as long as they get proper salaries, break time and vacations).

Fortnite should almost certainly win best support at the game awards

I only said it to clarify that you can dislike FN for legit reasons

 

honestly, the consistency of aiming with a mouse is one of the main benefits of PC gaming to me, I am not beholden to developer's weird and inconsistent "acceleration curves" and deadzone settings on the controller, not to mention input lag.

(not saying PC gaming is the holy grail because holy shit at the the troubles you have to shoot sometimes) but to me the payoff is worth it.

 

I'm fine with PC gaming actually, it's all the same to me in the end, but I do dislike playing shooters with mouse and keyboard. I feel like mouse aiming is basically Minesweeper, why even bother

 

it takes some getting used to. what did the trick for me was a comically low sensitivity and hours of aim practice.

 

Ps5 January 28th/49.99 or a $10 upgrade if you already own it. Pc info coming next year

As cool as it is that Uncharted 4 is coming to PC, they really should port the first three games.

 

Don’t think the article was shared in here but

Geoff hyping up the game award by saying “four or five reveals similar in size to elden ring”

And two “huge” reveals. One at the beginning and one at the end.

Guessing the huge reveals are RE4 at the start and Bioshock at the end. Or some Kojima game at the end

 

it's been a while since I've really dove into controller settings for a FPS but it feels like Halo Infinite has a ton of options to mess with which has been nice
