So Max brakes late and hopes everyone gets out of the way, and now to let someone pasts just stops in the middle of the track?

That was 100% Lewis’ fault

The T1 incident when he nearly hit Hamilton that started all this.

He did, but he also took a weird position, then jinked across and got on the throttle when Lewis got near.

Lewis also hadn't had a message to say he's letting him by, so all he got was a car slowing down in a throttle zone.

 

Max got on the throttle after Lewis rear ended him!

 

Yeah I saw the replay after my post. I thought he got on the throttle because when the contact happened he ended up pointing somewhat towards the wall. Weird incident either way.

I'm glad we got to see none of that Ocon/Bottas fight on the last lap.

TV coverage is getting worse.

 

Been a very exciting season, all the same. Going down to the last race level on points isn’t something I expected at all.

 

Bottas being a party pooper as well. There's been nothing to like about this race. Awful.

This was a crazy race. Next weekend will be intense and crazy

 

If Hamilton wins the title next race, all the online Verstappen fans are going to lose it. Hoping that happens now.

 

Sky are suggesting that both drivers might have been playing silly sods with the DRS detection point.

 

Kind of hope Lewis wins next week, would be his most impressive championship imo

 

Hey but at least we got that final half lap of Hamilton 8+ seconds ahead, a rare instance never caught on camera

 

Max given a 10 second penalty (doesn't change the result) for "braking suddenly (69 bar) and significantly, resulting in 2.4g deceleration" when Hamilton hit him.

From radio messages I've heard (not sure how accurate) Merc told Hamilton that Max was going to let him past as the crash happened, seems like a mess all around by everybody.

 

I don’t want Lewis to win because I just want a new winner and less Merc domination. I don’t want Verstappen to win because I just don’t really like him. Gonna be an odd end to a fascinating season for me.
