I had absolutely no idea he was involved with that band, but yeah I’ve heard the most recent one and you’re right — the production style really lines up with this in a lot of ways haha. The guy has an incredible set of ears

 

Well on first listen I would say this is not what I expected (or even really wanted) from a No Rome full length, but he made something really interesting nonetheless. A fantastic headphone record that I’m excited to chew on over the next couple months of slow release weeks

 

Yes!!! He’s one of the premiere producers around now imo

 

huge glow up for him, I really really want to smoke again so this hits right.

really great album, though it kinda drags in places. the two singles and secret beach are early highlights.

 

Wish this was 2x as long. Some really cool sounds

also really want another No Rome x Charli song

 

I keep craving for Issues (After Dark) to go on for another two minutes

 

this is absolutely fucking bonkers in terms of production. so much here to chew on. it’s really everything I could have wanted from him but I honestly don’t think I thought he had something like this in him.

 

The breakdown in Remember November is a pretty clear highlight, and Space-cowboy is a top opener of the year imo

 

Forgot this was coming and I am very pleasantly surprised by it.

When She Comes Around, November, Space Cowboy, I want U, Secret Beach - idk most of it lol

 

This thing is riddled with little moments I’m growing to love, even if I’m not a huge fan of some of the song there’s something that’s really memorable - the boy band chorus of Secret Beach, the outro to Remember November, the ending of Space Cowboy. The nooks and crannies are so fun

 

Might be my favourite 2021 record production wise. It’s dense but nothing feels muddied.

 

This is really rewarding to listen through a bunch of times, a lot of shit going on in the back of these tracks that is just ❤️

 

I love trying to re-sequence albums, set this after a bit of work

 

After Dark makes me feel things, it’s so simply gorgeous

 

Seems like it’s been pretty quiet in his camp this year… maybe 002 coming soon?

Also I feel like fans of this album might also like James Ivy, who just put this out today:
