I owned (and watched) the DVD like 20 years ago. I remember almost nothing about it, other than being disappointed. I'm always tempted to rewatch it, but haven't.

I've always been curious about "Fridays" and "Norman's Corner"

I'm in season 6 now and JB Smoove is killing me. His scene telling Larry how to get in someone's asshole was amazing.

I always forget how late into the show Leon joins the cast, once he's been on for a season or two you basically forget what it was like before he was there

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

Larry and Leon’s reactions to the guy on the roof had me absolutely losing it. Larry judging people’s job capabilities based on how they look was perfection.

    Die rad.

any appreciated in here for "Clear History?" That movie is absolutely fantastic. Still quoting it almost a decade later.

A large woman bumped me off the sidewalk.

This episode was hilarious. I was dying during his conversation with Seth Rogen

This most recent episode didn't hit as hard for me. My fiancee didn't like the fat jokes. I thought it was pretty on-brand for Larry but I definitely see how it can seem meanspirited. I thought the underwear and Jews for Jesus stuff was hilarious though.

I can see how someone might see the fat jokes as mean spirited, but as a fat guy I just about died laughing as soon as I saw the roofer was overweight just in pure anticipation of Larry’s response

  13. Also, like the whole point of the show is that Larry's being a dick. It's not like the show is taking an actually fatphobic stance lol

Ok halfway through season 7 and I'm laughing a ton, but the show definitely has morphed. It's like It's Always Sunny finally permeated his psyche and there are episodes where he's just straight up doing bad things with no lead up or explanation.

And more gross-out gags than before. All of which I have laughed at.

It is so different from the early show, where major plot points were built around little quirks in society and their general absurdity. Larry is much more sympathetic in the early show.

With regards to the fat guy on the roof ir the female limo driver, it is a good joke because we are at this moment in time where we are trying to treat everyone equally but sometimes going overboard and putting our heads in the sand with regards to basic biological differences. It is like that poster of the kids watching the game and "equality vs. equity".

Larry is a judgmental guy. He hired a lawyer because he thought he was Jewish and hired a chef because he thought he was a Holocaust survivor. Of course he is going to have some hesitations over a large guy on his roof. What I didn't like was the ending; why would he go into the house to take the charger, and why would Leon endanger someone's life by yanking on it?

I’m well versed on charger stealers, they’re everywhere. They can be anyone (who has the same charging port on their phone), and they think a charger is a shared thing like seating or air conditioning but it’s not, it’s very personal. The cable is being directly inserted into my phone, it’s intimate, people who steal chargers are animals

Larry defending Asia Argento is gross but unsurprising given his Woody support

it was nice seeing Richard, Ted and Cheryl though and Larry trying to get an ordinance passed so he doesn't need a fence on his pool is incredible

The bit about Asa and the older actress was honestly gross. First time I've ever called this show "tasteless".

Yeah besides that weirdness I though this was a really funny episode. Good to see Jon Rudnitsky get work
