BELLS and COVERT should both work.

Thanks for the presale code. Thinking a there’s pretty good chance Friday Philly will sell out quick. Just hoping they don’t add Saturday if both dates sell out

Based on his Instagram, looks like “There There” will be part of the encore.

I’d be surprised if if they had an encore, but I’d be down. Some B sides or Salinger would be dope.

I’m guessing that video was for their holiday shows

On his IG he said he’s practicing the set on his Peloton. We just bought one. How do we go about getting some TWY rides going. Probably the least punk rock thing ever. Getting old is weird.

  13. Ticket acquired for the Saturday Chicago show. I decided to just do one night of this so I can see Greg Barnett on the 4th.

I was at Providence last night. Set list in spoilers below:

    I Don't Like Who I Was Then
    Dismantling Summer
    Local Man Ruins Everything
    Out On My Feet
    Sister Cities
    The Devil in My Bloodstream
    There, There
    Passing Through a Screen Door
    Threadbare
You In January (Burst & Decay version)
Hoodie Weather (Burst & Decay version)
    Christmas at 22
    Cardinals
    Brakeless
    Pyramids of Salt
    Came Out Swinging

    Washington Square Park
    Cigarettes & Saints

And Future Teens, for those who'd like it:

    What's My Sign Again?
    Girlfriend on a Gap Year
    So What
    Emotional Bachelor
    Frequent Crier
    In Love or Whatever
    Guest Room (Amy solo)
    Expiration Dating

FT set was heavy on Hard Feelings because the original drummer was filling in. I'm not sure if that was just for last night, or if it's for this whole run.

I don't know enough Pronoun or Proper to have recorded those. Both bands were fun, but I certainly preferred Proper. Lots of energy, fun stage banter. You could tell how excited they were to be included. I expected Pronoun to play after Future Teens, but FT was direct support to TWY.

TWY sounded good, though it's not the tightest I've heard them. No complaints, it's been a long damn time since they put together a headline show. Dan was definitely overcome with emotion to be doing this again and said there were times in the last 21 months where he thought they might never play again. Early in the set, he asked where people were from and I was surprised to hear the majority of people came in from outside Rhode Island. Lots of Mass and CT folks. Josh specifically asked if anyone was from Maine (me!), so that was cool.

I was on the guardrail and it was easily the tamest Wonder Years show I've ever seen. Don't get me wrong - the crowd was super energetic - singing, screaming, and dancing the whole night, but there was a definite cognizance paid to social distancing. I'm used to being completely crushed against the barrier the moment the band walks on stage. Last night, I wasn't even touched until "Came Out Swinging." Good, passionate, excited crowd with some really good etiquette. Dan thanked people for mask compliance, which I'd guess was at a good 90% down near the front. I only saw a handful of people without them.

Excited for the Upsides/Suburbia tour in Boston.

Anyone tell what time TWY went on the past two nights? My shows is a 7pm start. Still not ready for body to body so I plan to hang in the back.

I saw on setlistfm they went on at 9:20. Had no idea that was a feature on there now but according to that, it was 9:20!

Edit: this was for Providence, and it shows doors were at 6:00

Can confirm - they went on at 9:20 in Providence and the show got done around 10:40. Everything was pretty speedy. Future Teens actually went on 5 minutes early because Proper and Pronoun used their drum kit, so there was very little to do in the way of changeover.

Pretty sure this about to be the first concert I’ve seen since TWY in October 2019. Might be the longest gap between shows since like….16 years old (38 now). Bizarre. Feels like much longer but at same time, not long.

Show was good. Soupy was more conversational with the crowd rather than the usual canned banter. Someone got engaged prior to one of the songs so that was neat. Crowd in the middle was moshing but sides were chill and singing along.

Same. I have tickets to the first date, but I’m expecting it to be postponed given all of the other tours that have been cancelled or postponed the last few weeks.

  24. Was told yesterday this was in the process of being cancelled. Guess we’ll see.

I started to look at hotels for the city I bought a ticket for (roughly 4 hours away) then stopped because I assume it will be canceled or delayed
