Apparently Green Day is headlining Sea Hear Now festival in NJ next year

Good catch though time seems pretty much meaningless in the post-pandemic world.

What’s the typical draw at a Weird Al show? Whether the answer is 100 or 10,000 I’d believe it

 

He typically plays large, seated indoor theaters. Although he played quite a few decent size amphitheaters on his last tour.

I saw him at the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa on his last tour, which is about 8,000 capacity and it was packed. He’s doing quite well these days!

 

Well, looks like Weird Al is gonna be hitting Carnegie Hall

 

Weird Al is an amazing live act

 

Costume changes for every song, crowd interactivity (I saw him pre-COVID though), backup dancers, full video screens, and a career-spanning setlist. I think he played over two hours when I saw him.

 

His last tour, not only did he do all of that, but he did it with a live orchestra. So, seriously, if he’s coming to your town, GO SEE HIM
