Seeing AJR open for Weezer is a dream... If it helps your decision, AJR is obsessed with Weezer. They've featured Rivers on a song, & Weezer has an alt version of All My Favorite Songs with AJR. I'll keep my fingers crossed for some surprises if they're playing back to back. But you def have to stay for Weezer

I might have heard it once or twice. I'll have to revisit it. I cant stand any of the singles I've heard since like Hash Pipe.

It actually appears that I already have!

Only thing to add is Van Weezer, which I would list in the 'VERY GOOD WEEZER' section.

Dates are on Ticketmaster - there's a stretch of Canada dates where the bill is opening for Hot Water Music too.

I agree with this all except I enjoy Raditude more than Red. Red and Make Believe are Weezer at pretty much an all time low (the back half of Red with the non-Rivers songs is an absolute dead zone). Raditude at least has some big slick fun pop production and some of the bonus tracks are excellent.

I got burnt out on seeing The Menzingers.

I was late to the party and I got into them right after “Rented World” came out. I saw them eight times in under four years. Every single show I went with my buddy and after the last one on 7/30/19 in Lakewood I told him: “the next time they come to town I don’t know if I’ll go.” He and I went to pretty much every show in Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Columbus in that time frame. They played Columbus and I skipped it. Then the pandemic hit, the new album and the acoustic version of it came out and I’ve been itching to see them again. I’m super excited this got announced and they are finally coming back here and at the Beachland Ballroom non-the-less. That’s one thing the pandemic did for me, it made me never take another gig for granted and it gave me time to rest on some of my “favorite” bands to see live.

Only downfall is We Were Promised Jetpacks is in town that same night at the Grog Shop. Lol. Another band I never skip with a different two buddies of me. Oh, well.
