I have free Showtime this weekend so decided to watch all three episodes of New Blood and it’s…pretty good.

This season is really good so far, if a little slow. Still a nice change of pace after the ridiculous last few seasons.

I’m caught up but my free weekend of Showtime is over so guess I’ll finish this next year, haha.

    Based on the preview:

Looks like he is going to put Harrison on the table to show him who he truly is?

I'm guessing this leads to Harrison taking over the killings. Given the title of the show and what the showrunner has said, maybe Harrison ends up killing Dexter at the end of the season.

Has it been confirmed this will be a multi-season show? IMDB still calls it a Mini-Series.

The showrunner said "break the internet finale moment" so I'm thinking there is going to be open endedness to it.

I agree with your spoiler tag. I definitely think Harrison kills Dexter. Probably the entire reason Harrison sought out Dexter in the first place, to kill him for leaving him for 10 years. And I know Michael C. Hall was always hesitant (for good reason) to bring Dexter back, so maybe he agreed to do one more season for himself to give finality to his character

The only other option is Dexter kills Harrison but that'd be SUPER dark.

the song playing in the credits totally sounded like Michael C Hall's voice, I'm guessing he has a band

Thought the first episode of this was okay. The Harrison stuff is interesting but thought the way he decided to start killing again was kind of weak and rushed. I liked the scene with the buck but you're telling me for 10 years he never met some rich douche with a gun hobby? Felt forced. I will keep watching it though

The level of coincidence writing gymnastics of ladycop running into Batista and Batista spilling the Harrison beans is hilarious

The writing could not have been lazier which I guess you could argue means Dexter the show is back baby

Just started the new season, maybe against my better judgment. Ah well. I enjoyed the first episode. Michael C Hall is so talented. When he's trying to convince Harrison he's actually Jim, dude shifts his mannerisms and accent just a pitch and it honestly seems like he could be taken as a different person.

that sentence could be said about most of the Six Feet Under cast and their roles after the show
