I keep hearing Citizen Kane is a technical achievement but it wasn’t even filmed in IMAX.

I am surprised they called in a 2021 film since it did have a festival run in 2019.

I saw The French Dispatch again this weekend and it still hasn't done much for me, but I am glad to see The Card Counter on there because that was really special. Annette was fine but I am trying to emotionally prepare myself for never being able to see Memoria if they stick to their awful release idea.

 

I am very excited for Drive My Car. I’ll be spending a lot of December playing catch up, glad to see their top 10 has a lot of what I was interested in.

 

I loved Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy from this year so I'm interested in Drive My Car too. Also hopeful that I can see Benedetta before the end of the year.

 

When tf will Drive My Car expand or go to streaming? I’ve got to see this movie.

Nathan is an XXL devotee. He says it in every post.

 

XXL is a huge step up from Magic Mike 1, but it was during Soderbergh’s “retirement”, so he was DP for that one. He was pretty hands on. Plus I’d never say no to Soderbergh

 

XXL is probably marginally better and definitely more structurally out there than the original but it's still a great and heavily underrated movie. Soderbergh will definitely kill it on this one

 

I wonder how much Tatum and Soderbergh will actually be involved. They were originally credited as executive producers. It comes out in two weeks.

 

Think you have that confused with "upcoming HBO Max reality competition series Finding Magic Mike", which does come out in two weeks

 

That is a lot of Magic Mike content. We will never see Nathan again.
